Treasures of Armenia's National Gallery to be exhibited in Berlin: Preparations for the 100 + 10 - Armenian Allegories international festival have already begun in Berlin, the National Gallery of Armenia reports. As part of the festival, the unique works of Arshak Fetvadjian will be presented in the Future Imperfect exhibition together with more than eighty works of fourty artists from Amsterdam, Istanbul and Gothenburg from April 24 to May 31. “Our souls are at war” reads one of the works in this exhibition. The artists reflect on the aftermath of genocide, displacement, and the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, seeking to break the cycle of loss and crisis while embracing the ambiguities of shaping the future. Featuring photography, painting, video, and installations, the exhibition highlights how art bears witness and sparks transformation – not through victimhood clichés, but by emphasizing transnational connections and hope. The curator is Vigen Galstyan.
