F/A-22 Raptor: In twenty first century the art of war is well evolved than previous centuries , the Air force has become the backbone of any country’s defense line and is integral part of any countries security .It’s been said that if you have air dominance no one can dare to strike at you and gives you an overall strategic advantage .In previous two decades there has been significant and groundbreaking advancements in flying sciences as well as in fighter jets , now jets have more advance radars , communication , electronic warfare (EW) , better thrust , BVR (beyond visual range) missiles and much more . This evolution in fighter jets is an ongoing process and scientists are now a days working on jets that are soundless and not just stealthy but invisible. We have compiled a list of top ten fighter jets serving the armies around the globe, the list is based on evaluation of the fighter jets, its performance in actual warfare and on advancement of the fighter jets.

The F-35 is descended from the X-35, the product of the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) program. It is being designed and built by an aerospace industry team led by Lockheed Martin. The F-35 took its first flight on 15 December 2006. The United States plans to buy 2,443 aircraft. The F-35 variants are intended to provide the bulk of its tactical airpower for the U.S. Air ForceMarine Corps and Navy over the coming decades. JSF development is being principally funded by the United States with additional funding from partners. The partner nations are either NATO members or close U.S. allies. The United Kingdom, Israel, Italy, The Netherlands, Australia, Canada, Norway, Denmark, and Turkey are part of the active development program; Japan has ordered the F-35, while Singapore may also equip their air force with the F-35. South Korea decided to purchase 40 F-35s with deliveries from 2018 to 2021.The F-35 program has experienced a number of cost overruns and developmental delays. The program's delays have come under fire from Congress and some Department of Defense officials.

(3) SU-35: The second on our list is the great SU-35. The twin engine, single seat jet is a super maneuverability multi role fighter. It is the derived version of Su-27 ‘Flanker’ and was known as SU-27 at its early stage. Dozens of these were built from which most of the jets were used by the Russian knight’s aerobatic demonstration team. The Su-35 framework has been protected because of the increased takeoff and landing weight of the jet. For the similar reason, the front bearing has two wheels. The improved radar stealth decreases the reflectance of the Su-35 in the X radio waveband and in the angle range of ±60°.

(12) HAL's Fifth Generation Fighter Aircraft (PMF/FGFA): The Truths You Always Suspected! HAL
IDP Sentinel
displayed a scale model of the PMF/FGFA, which it is 'co-developing' with Sukhoi, at Aero India 2013. What is the scope of the co-development? I try and provide some answers below, based on my discussion with an HAL official at Aero India 2013. An HAL design team has been in Russia for a while. The product page of HAL's website says, "PMF/FGFA will be co-developed with Russians. Sukhoi Design Bureau (SDB) has been selected as the Russian agency for this development project." Several Indian military blogs have promoted the idea that the PMF/FGFA is being custom built for the IAF by Sukhoi and HAL based on the T-50 design. Before the start of Aero India, one military blog talked about HAL unveiling its design of the PMF/FGFA at Aero India 2013. The blog had earlier 'leaked' a graphic showing the design of the PMF/FGFA. Most of what has been written about the PMF/FGFA in the Indian military press is hype.
